Stop the Surfing Tax

Will you sign our petition against Cornwall Council proposed 'Surfing Tax'?

Stephen Gilbert has slammed Cornwall Council’s plans to charge surf schools for access to beaches in Cornwall saying that the idea is “totally bonkers, not workable, very possibly not even legal and would be a total wipe out for many local businesses”.

This is effectively a tax on surfing, a tax on tourism and a tax on jobs here in Cornwall.

Will you sign the petition below to back Stephen's campaign to stop it?

We, the undersigned, are calling on Cornwall Council to reconsider charging surf schools for access to beaches in Cornwall as we feel this will be a tax on surfing that will do great damage to the local economy.
